Badi & Jabba Get Married!

I'm going for a good friend's wedding today! His name is Badi, and he's marrying a beautiful Iban lady named Jabba! (Absolutely no relation to Star Wars here!) <3

I made this drawing to celebrate their nuptials! Sorry if I got the details on the costumes wrong ^^;;
I managed to finish this on the correct date! :D Their wedding will start... 30 minutes after this, at 6 p.m! Eek!
O my Lord!  O my Lord!  These two bright orbs are wedded in Thy love, conjoined in servitude to Thy Holy Threshold, united in ministering to thy Cause.  Make Thou this marriage to be as threading lights of Thine abounding grace, O my Lord, the All-Merciful, and luminous rays of Thy bestowals, O Thou the Beneficent, the Ever-Giving, that there may branch out from this great tree boughs that will grow green and flourishing through the gifts that rain down from Thy clouds of grace.

Verily, Thou art the Generous.
Verily, Thou art the Compassionate, the All-Merciful.
‘Abdu’l-Bahá

May the both of you be happy and blessed in each other's love! Good luck. you two! Congratulations!

P.S: I'm soooo gonna be late! >.<

That Time of the Week: An Ode To Laundry!

It's that time of the week again...
...time to do your laundry!

For some, it's the worst chore to do around the house. Probably because you have to handle other's pieces of clothing with suspect stains and/or smell... I've put that image in your head already huh?

But if you live alone, how do you know it's time to get the laundry done without your parents to yell, I mean remind you?

Ish okay, I've got you covered! *nyafist*

Launderettes will charge you by the kilogram and the type of wash. You'll be given a receipt that tells you the date for you to pick up your clothes and cough up the money. Whether washed properly or not, that ketchup stain of '99 is NEVER coming out, no sir.

Hey, at least you have synthetic fragrance all over your clothes, right? XD

Or maybe you decide to rough it out and wash your clothes by hand? I bet I can guess what you'll end up doing: dump the clothes in a bucket of soapy water, leave it overnight, step on it like you're squashing grapes to make wine, and rinse them all with water. The method is crude but  kinda sorta effective.

Eh?
No ar?
Just me ar?

Or maaaaybe you're one of the lucky ones, blessed with the presence of a washing machine in the house. :3

You are doubly blessed if your washing machine happens to have one of those "fuzzy logic" thingies. They will help you clean your clothes with the touch of a few squishy buttons, so you won't have to manually release the water and  transfer your clothes to the spin section.

My washing machine has it's own kind of logic, and it's not the fuzzy kind. Depending on it's mood it will either spin-dry vigorously or spin-dry like we were having a blackout.

Yes, I have a tsundere washing machine. D:

Laundry day at my house is a pretty straightforward occasion...
...except for last month.

T_T Fefanie... why???

The bra was never the same again.
Now it goes to a special counseling group of traumatized bras.

May you always separate whites from colours,
May you always find your socks in pairs,
May you always remove the contents of the pockets,
and may you always find money in there.

TO CLEAN CLOTHES! *cheers*

P.S: Oh hey, its Fefanie's second appearance in my blog! :D Dogs are much more difficult to draw than cats. =w=;;

Bolasepak = Hidup. Catur = Hidup. Jadi Catur = Bolasepak?

   mengejek lawan,
     menggunakan pemain gantian,
       meminta bantuan jurulatih,
         bersorak-sorai jika menang,
           mengungkit kemenangan/kekalahan,
menggunakan masa tambahan (apa tu makan tengahari?),
               menggunakan pasukan sorak, dan
                 mengira pungutan mata.

Suatu hari saya dapati salah seorang pemain mula membaca doa makan berkali-kali. Saya pun berasa hairan.

Kenapa, anda bertanya?
Pasal saya tidak tahu bagaimana untuk melukisnya! XD

Saya rasa catur semakin menarik.

Jangan lupakan kami tau? :)

SD Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. Navin!

Hello! :3

Today’s post is long overdue (hehe). If you follow me on Twitter, I’ve mentioned on a few occasions that:

a.    I have a lot of unfinished business; and
b.    I’m going through my old sketchbooks.

Both of these are, unfortunately, still true to this day.

I usually make rough sketches in my sketchbook and go over them if I have the time, and improve on them. If you ever look through my sketchbooks, you’ll notice two things.

I use both pencils and pens for my drawings. If it’s in pencil form, it’s still unfinished. If it’s in pen form, it’s completed. But you won’t ever see the original sketch once it is in pen form; I will redo the penciling and ink it right after that.

I will erase the pencil sketch before I scan it into my computer. Any mistakes I made prior to the scan will be magically corrected with the god-like powers of Adobe Photoshop.*

Last year, Navin was curious how I would portray him in an artwork when I’d never met him before. I made a couple of sketches (and by a couple I meant 6 sketched) and only finished one.

For a time, it was his Facebook profile picture. I told him that I see him as someone who is serious and honest to a fault.

Look at that picture! He really does look serious, doesn’t he? :D

But I mentioned earlier that I did six sketches of him. Well, three of them were really cute. And the cute ones are what I want to show you today.

An SD Gundam version of Navin. (I'm not really an otaku per se, but I do know a thing about anime. :D)

Why? Well, Ganaesh told me that he once talked about Gundams with Navin, and remarked that “Navin really knows his Gundams woo!”

So there you go.
Yes, I realize that I REALLY need to practice drawing mechas. XD

It took me a long time, but I’ll get to them sooner or later. *flips through sketchbook* There are so many more sketches waiting to be inked. So many more sketches that I want to show you.

Maybe one day I’ll actually get to meet Navin for real and see for myself how serious he really is ;)

P.S: For those curious, I’m using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Any other version will freeze or completely hang my computer. Yes, it’s that OLD.
